Works quite well - You seed public indicated in the upper right at the start of the discussion?

So what determines whether it is public or non in the first place? Their ROLE?
There are a few items, like Health and Wellness, that is located in VOLUME 3, but the access levels for that category are set to include all.

There are a few other instances like that.

The reason Health and Wellness was placed in with Volume 3 is that is where it resided in the original KTVA course, so the FORUMS was roughly set up to mirror the course, so as to make the forums integrate better with the course.

Long ago, there were Volume 1 only students, and some that only went up to volume 2 or 3.

Presently, those that purchase "THE COURSE" have access to only VOLUMES 1, 2, and 3 on the forums, because that is all that their course includes.

That corresponds to "Enrolled" on both KTVA Version 1 and also on KTVA 2.0.

PRO is the access that those who bought the version 1 PRO PACKS got and is now 2.0 PRO, which gives access to all 5 KTVA Volumes plus any PRO PACK or FORUMS PRO Area info. There is a "VIEW" role, which is kind of a Last Chance role, that some forums members who have posted irresponsibly have been given, when they need a time-out from the forums for bad behavior. It's READ-Only.

    Hi Bob,

    remember:

"THE THEME" only determines the look of the data and DOES NOT change anything concerning rights and roles ...

I will show you how you can do that on the production site.
